About the Team
As Senior Business Development Manager, you will focus on Sales activities within UK, Ireland and Eastern Europe predominantly. There might be other markets you are involved too but the prime focus will surely be on the UK. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
About the role
Your role is all about promoting and selling EVBox fast and superfast charging solutions (hardware care plans and services) toward key segments in the assigned geographies. You will be engaged in the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to tender answers, contract negotiation, closing deals and then Account management of your customer portfolio. You will develop and maintain both a customer and prospect portfolio.
Your main objective is to achieve revenue targets for the assigned geographies. You'll be leaving your mark in this important field for a sustainable future.
Business Development
- Identify and prioritize key target clients and industries based on market research and analysis.
- Qualify and convert leads into new opportunities following defined qualification criteria
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the assigned geographies.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at potential client organizations. Build relationships with key customer contacts and work to develop EVBox as the preferred partner. Increase the business potential of each sales channel under your control by closely supporting, communicating, coaching and building up strong relationships with the decision-making stakeholders of customers and partners
- Drive the development and implementation of effective sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge, conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis.
- External Communication: you will be a central piece of our EVBox Communication Strategy toward customers in the assigned geographies, animating Regional Masterclass, Webinars, Workshops with customer and potential participation into Trade Shows.
Account Management
- Understand pain points, deliver insights and teach your existing partners about EVBox’s portfolio of solutions (products and services)
- Conduct high-level sales meetings and presentations with potential clients, showcasing the value proposition and benefits of the company's products or services.
- Sales related project management: coordinate with internal Stakeholders to roll-out your partner projects, the deployment of international agreements at local level, from order to delivery to successful implementation on the field.
- Be an advisor for your accounts on all aspects of EV Charging and the product and service portfolio
Customer Journey Process and Transversal Role
- Implement the Sales Process: qualification of potential targets, identification of key initiatives to unlock market potential, sharing information across the organization, forecast revenue and product forecasting for your account portfolio.
- Provide input and feedback on pricing strategies, product development, contract terms, and other sales-related decisions.
- Align and coordinate on your market approach with your colleagues, propose and implement improvements and best practices to ensure efficient way of working.
- Clarify and develop best charging solutions in cooperation with presales engineers, marketing and other internal stakeholders to offer the best EV charging solutions to customers. Collaborate with Customer Support, Product Management and Marketing to develop and customize industry segment(s) focused value propositions.
About you
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, in commercial and/or electrical engineering, electronics, renewables, or business development.
- Perfect English. French speaking is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience requirements, Competences and Skills
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a B2B Sales environment is required. Tech sector, Automotive Industry, E-mobility industry and/or electrical installation industry are preferred sectors and would be an advantage. Affinity with sustainable, green tech work environments. In-depth knowledge of or willingness to quickly acquire knowledge of the EV industry
- 3 years' experience in the e-mobility sector is required. Track record of achieving commercial goals (for instance: sales quota, growth quota, new customer acquisition, etc...)
- Experience in medium and long sales cycles is a plus. Ability to understand the customer's business and tailor the best solution
- Knowledge of working with CRM systems, especially Salesforce is a plus.
Physical requirements
- Ability to visit customers onsite
- Valid driving license as this position involves regular customer visits
