The review phase represents the initial screening of applications to determine the most suitable candidates for the open position.

The introduction call provides an opportunity for you to gain insight into our company and the open position, while allowing us to evaluate your skills and experience to ensure a potential match with the role.

If you progress to the interview stage you will have the opportunity to showcase your qualifications and experience, while our hiring team evaluates your fit for the role and company culture. We conduct both online and in-person interviews.

For certain positions, you may be asked to complete a job-related task as a final evaluation step before a hiring decision is made.

We extend an employment offer to the candidate, whom we believe is the best fit for the role based on their qualifications and experience.

At EVBox, we believe in a flexible work environment that balances remote work and in-person collaboration. To promote teamwork and maintain our company culture, we require employees to spend a minimum of 40% of their work time in the office. However, we understand that some roles or locations may require more time in the office.

To further support work-life balance and accommodate our employees' needs, we offer the opportunity to work remotely from another country for up to 4 weeks per calendar year. To ensure smooth operations and business continuity, such requests must be approved in advance by your HRBP and manager, taking into consideration factors such as your role, working conditions, timing, and time zone differences.

During our general onboarding, we cover a variety of interesting topics that will help you get to know us better! You'll learn about our policies, communication within the company, how we support your growth and development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, health and safety practices, cybersecurity measures, sustainability efforts, and of course, our exciting product portfolio. We'll also share our mission, vision, and company history, so you can see how we got to where we are today.

We want to make sure you feel welcome and supported from day one! Our onboarding process usually starts with a 2-day general orientation, where you'll learn about our company culture, and get to know your new colleagues. Then, depending on your team, you'll have some department-specific training to get you up to speed on your role. For example, if you join our Cloud Mobile Engineering team, you may have an extra day of training, while for our Hardware Engineering team you may have two extra days of training.
