What you'll be doing

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining product documentation for the EVBox products in collaboration with Product, Engineering and Support. We expect you will, together with the teams, efficiently translate our products into clear messaging for various user personas.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, development teams and after sales support teams to gather all relevant information to write and edit technical and non-technical documentation on the latest developments and concepts
  • Coordinate and maintain documentation, providing up to date user guides and manuals for all audiences, including consumers, businesses and partners.
  • Content Strategy: Develop content strategies and workflows to ensure documentation is comprehensive and easy to understand.
  • Review and Edit: Review and edit content created by other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Information Architecture: Organize and structure content to enhance readability and accessibility.
  • Advise on various systems to optimize our customer experience, including terminology, and tools
  • Follow and contribute to team process for reviewing, removing, or adding new documentation
  • Compliance Documentation: Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Translation Management: Coordinate with translation services to manage the localization of documentation. Ensure that translated materials maintain the same quality and accuracy as the original content.

Experience we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical writing, Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Good English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts related to electrical engineering, hardware, and software.
  • Experience and / or familiarity with the following systems: Confluence Server, Jira, Apigee, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/Dita language is a plus (not mandatory)
  • Characteristics: self-starter, independent, proactive, interpersonal, autonomous
  • Great attention to detail (to quickly analyze and comprehend new or unfamiliar technical systems, software products, processes, and terminology)
  • Able to function effectively working with a distributed team, comfortable in building relationships. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Open to feedback to continuously learn and develop further both personally and professionally
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for charging stations.
  • Experience in managing translation projects and working with translation services.
