The EV chargepoint grant is available for homeowners who live in flats and people in rental accommodation. The main requirement is that a person owns, leases or has ordered a qualifying vehicle and has dedicated off-street parking at their property. You can apply for the EV chargepoint grant if you have ordered, or are the registered keeper of a new or second-hand eligible electric vehicle. If you lease or have been assigned a company car, you must have done so for at least six months to qualify for the grant.

In order to claim the EV chargepoint grant, you will need to reach out to your installer who can apply for the funding on your behalf. However, the installer must first be EVHS-approved and accredited by a Competent Person Scheme. Furthermore, you must complete a customer declaration on the EV chargepoint grant installation form.

Yes, there is. You can only apply for one charge point per eligible electric vehicle and household. You can no longer claim for 2 chargepoints if you own a second EV.
