You’re eligible to apply for this grant if you’re a registered business, charity or public sector organisation located in the UK.

Yes, the grant covers up to 75% of the total costs of the purchase and installation of EV charging ports (inclusive of VAT), capped at a maximum of:

  • £350 per charging port
  • 40 charging ports across all sites per applicant

  1. Begin with completing the online application form.
  2. Within 5 days, you should receive a decision from the scheme administrator.
  3. Following this, you should arrange for a WCS-approved authorised installer to complete the installation within 6 months.
  4. Once the installation is completed, your installer can redeem the voucher online via the installer portal.
  5. An email from DVLA will be sent to you, containing the information provided by the installer and confirming the grant level generated by the system.
  6. After you make the payment to the installer, they will receive the grant from OZEV within 30 working days.
