By 2030, we aim to achieve:

  • 50% less use of virgin materials
  • 100% of products designed using circular principles
  • All packaging to be recyclable

By 2050, we aim to be 100% circular.

Collaboration is the key to success in the circular economy; therefore, we welcome innovative service models which extend or give our products second life.

Through our cooperation with partners like Drake & Farrell, we increase the circularity of our products by reusing and recycling our charging stations and their components.

Our partners repair faulty charging stations to their original state when possible, and diligently dismantle them when repair is not possible.

Whilst no second-hand charging stations will be resold, the charging stations themselves, or their spare parts and materials will then get a second life by being used to replace other charging stations in similar warranty cases. For parts that cannot be reused, the materials will be recycled and will find their way back into the economy in a new form, reducing waste and saving resources.

By doing so, over 50% of the charging stations can be successfully repaired and reused. For the remaining stations, parts and components could be successfully harvested to further improve customer support efforts and reduce environmental impact.
