What Solutions Are Available to Equip Your Car Dealership with Charging Stations?
Last Updated: 24/4/2023 EVBox
To meet the rapid influx of new vehicles at dealerships, many manufacturers require their distribution networks to be equipped with more charging points, both in alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC), with continuously increasing power to meet the demands of new models entering the market.
The AC and DC charging solutions currently available on the market are perfectly suited to manufacturers’ specifications and ideal for equipping all areas of dealerships.
Tailored Charging Solutions for Your Needs
Uses of AC Charging Stations at Your Dealership
Certain AC charging stations, such as the EVBox Business Line with 7.4 kW, 11 kW, or 22 kW, can charge up to two vehicles per station. This allows your delivery area and outdoor parking to accommodate customers during their visits. If desired, these stations can also serve other electric vehicle drivers. Depending on the selected charging power, electric vehicles can recover between 40 km and 100 km of range per hour of charging.
Fast Charging Stations for Your Private Areas
Fast charging stations are perfectly suited for your vehicle preparation areas, workshops, and outdoor parking lots, while quickly charging your loaner vehicles.
For example, the EVBox Troniq 50 kW, with technology designed and manufactured in France at our Bordeaux factory, can charge up to 280 km of range in one hour.
Ultra-Fast Charging Stations to Expand Your Business
Ultra-fast and scalable charging stations, such as the EVBox Troniq Modular, can deliver between 90 kW and 240 kW and charge up to three vehicles simultaneously (AC and DC). This station is ideal if you have a high volume of electric vehicles to charge quickly or if you want to invest in creating charging hubs to diversify your revenue streams.

Turnkey Solutions
Comprehensive, turnkey solutions are available to best meet the needs of your dealerships. It’s important to consider the following aspects in your planning:
Partnering with Certified Installers
To ensure a durable installation, it’s crucial to choose qualified IRVE-certified installers who guarantee compliance. In this regard, EVBox benefits from a wide network of trained and certified expert partners who can assist with upgrading your facility’s electrical network and maintaining your installation.
Maximizing Your Investment with Durable and Interoperable Infrastructure
To monitor, manage, and optimize your charging station network, various management software solutions are available. These allow you to open your charging points to the public, set billing for charging costs, or establish pricing tailored to different user types (customers, employees, EV drivers, etc.). This way, you can increase your revenue and maximize your investment with even more durable equipment.
Additionally, the interoperability agreements of the EVBox Management Software allow your publicly accessible charging stations to be listed on various charging or mobility operator apps, providing access to a wide network of electric vehicles.
To learn more, discover our partnership with the mobility operator Chargemap, which provides users access to over 24,000 charging points across Europe.
Benefiting from the ADVENIR Subsidy
Through the ADVENIR program, you can receive up to €2,200 in subsidies per AC charging point and up to €24,700 for DC charging points. Indeed, our charging solutions, as well as those of our partners, are eligible for this subsidy.
The choice between installing AC and/or DC charging stations is a key factor in determining the amount of subsidies from the ADVENIR program.
