Note: EVBox is in no way responsible for changes in regulations affecting subsidy conditions or unsuccessful subsidy applications.

Frequently asked questions

The ADVENIR programme concerns a large number of players:

  • condominiums and residential car parks
  • private tertiary car parks for private use, such as company car parks
  • private tertiary car parks for public use, such as supermarkets
  • roadways and recharging hubs
  • modernisation of recharging infrastructure prior to March 2017

The ADVENIR programme considers eligible expenditure on charging point equipment and installation (connection downstream of the delivery point). Maintenance and supervision costs are not covered. However, they are included in the ADVENIR specifications.

The ADVENIR programme stipulates that it will not cover projects to install charging points in the following cases:

  • If the project launch date is prior to the ADVENIR certification date for the chosen offer
  • If they are replacements for existing charging points
  • If they involve the installation of charge points for private individuals in detached houses
  • If the charge points concerned have a capacity of 22kW or less
  • If the project does not comply with decree no. 2011-873 of 25 July 2011
  • If the installation does not comply with the regulatory obligations, standards or specifications of the ADVENIR programme.

Energy management of the charging infrastructure is part of the ADVENIR specifications. For example, it makes it possible to control the energy consumed when charging electric vehicles (all charging points combined) so as not to exceed the capacity of the site’s electricity meter. Previously optional, energy management is now compulsory under the new 2020 specifications for the ADVENIR programme.

All EVBox recharging solutions, including recharging stations and supervision software, allow energy management and are eligible for subsidies under the ADVENIR programme. Is the ADVENIR subsidy calculated on the basis of the number of recharging stations or the number of charging points?

The ADVENIR subsidy is calculated according to the number of charge points. For example, an EVBox BusinessLine double 2 x 22 kW charging point with 2 charge points will be eligible for an ADVENIR subsidy for each of its charge points.

The ADVENIR grant is also calculated according to the power of the chargepoint. So, for the installation of an EVBox BusinessLine 22 kW alternating current (AC) chargepoint open to the public, you can receive up to €2,200 in ADVENIR funding, and for the installation of an EVBox Troniq 50 kW fast chargepoint open to the public, you can receive up to €9,200 in ADVENIR funding.

To find out whether you are eligible, contact an EVBox expert by clicking here.

The ADVENIR premium is calculated on the basis of the costs of supplying and installing the charging points. Each target has different rates of aid. For full details, see our e-Book on the ADVENIR programme.
The ADVENIR grant also takes into account the use of the charging point (private, public or mixed) and the number of charging points.
Please note: it is based on the cost of the project excluding VAT, but must be deducted from the invoice amount including VAT. The ADVENIR grant is not subject to VAT or any other tax.

An EVBox Expert will help you prepare your ADVENIR grant application and submit it online at the time of installation. You will receive a response from the ADVENIR programme team within a week confirming that your application has been approved. Once your application has been validated, the premium will be paid within 45 days.
