How long it takes to charge the Tesla Model 3 varies based on which version of the Model 3 you purchase, its battery size, and the type of charging station you charge at. The Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive has a 57.5 kWh usable battery capacity, whilst the Model 3 Long Range and Performance both have a 75 kWh usable battery capacity.
At an AC charging station, you can expect to charge all versions of the Model 3 at a maximum power of 11 kW. This means you can charge the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive from 0 to 100 percent in approximately 6 hours and 15 minutes, and the Model 3 Long Range and Performance from 0 to 100 percent in 8 hours and 15 minutes.
As for charging at a DC fast charging station, the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive can charge at a maximum power of 170 kW, the Long Range at a maximum power of 250 kW, and the Performance at a maximum power of 210 kW. This means you can charge the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive from 10 to 80 percent in 25 minutes, the Model 3 Long Range from 10 to 80 percent in 27 minutes, and the Model 3 Performance from 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
The Tesla Supercharger is an electric vehicle DC fast charging station owned and operated by Tesla. Exclusively available to Tesla owners, these charging stations are capable of charging at a maximum speed of 250 kW.

One of the many reasons people look at purchasing an electric car is to experience features you won't typically find in traditional petrol or diesel vehicles. Of these new electric cars, the Tesla Model 3 is no exception.
The most advanced feature you can find in a Tesla Model 3 is Autopilot which allows for almost fully automated driving. Autopilot enables your car to steer, accelerate, and brake automatically, and, without any input, can change lanes, navigate on/off motorways, prevent potential collisions, and even drive to your location on demand.
Some of the other Model 3 features Tesla highlights on its website are the Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating overall and in every category, incredibly quick acceleration with a 0-62 mph time of 3.3 seconds, and its minimalistic interior containing only a 15-inch touchscreen control centre.
Categorised as a large five-seater saloon, the Tesla Model 3 has a length of 4,694 mm, a width of 1,849 mm (2,088 mm incl. mirrors), and a height of 1,443 mm. The cargo load of the Tesla Model 3 is 561 litres, with a front trunk of 88 litres.
As for the gross vehicle weight (GVWR), the Model 3 RWD comes in at 2,149 kg with a maximum payload of 389 kg, and the Model 3 Performance and Long Range come in at 2,232 kg with a maximum payload of 388 kg.
