The Cupra Born charging time depends on the model, its battery capacity, and the type of charging station you use. There are 3 models of the Cupra Born with different battery options: the Cupra Born 150 kW and Cupra Born 170 kW come with a 58 kWh useable battery, while the Cupra Born 170 kW can also be configured with a 77 kWh usable battery.

Using a standard AC charging station, all Cupra Born models have a maximum charging capacity of 11 kW, meaning it would take around 5 hours and 51 minutes to charge the 58 kWh versions and approximately 7 hours and 46 minutes to charge the Cupra Born 77 kWh from 0 to 100 percent.

With a DC fast charging station, the Cupra Born models with a 58 kWh battery can charge at a maximum power output of 124 kW, meaning it would take around 26 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent. The 77 kWh Cupra Born has a maximum charging capacity of 175 kW, meaning it would take approximately 25 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent.

There are a few ways to charge the Cupra Born; the most suitable one depends on your needs and situation. The easiest and usually cheapest way to charge is at home using a dedicated EV charging station. This method allows you to plug in at the end of the day and wake up every morning with a fully charged battery.

If you need to charge on the go or can’t install a charging station at your home, there are two main types of public charging to choose from. AC charging stations are widely available in a range of everyday locations, including parking garages, stores, and restaurants. DC chargers, by contrast, are usually located at rest stops and service stations – while they tend to cost more to use, they can quickly top up your car much faster than AC charging.

Like other EVs, the Cupra Born is equipped with the latest driving technology and smart features, all while being designed with driving comfort in mind. The Cupra Born specs include a sporty design inside and out, with 20-inch Aero wheels, dynamic LED lighting, an ergonomic steering wheel design, and seats made from recycled material.

The driving experience is at the core of the Cupra Born, with a new level of comfort and connectivity. The Born comes with a new infotainment system and a 12-inch center screen, alongside the My CUPRA app that lets drivers control their cars remotely with the touch of a button.

Last but not least, the Cupra Born is equipped with a range of driver assistance features that improve driving comfort and safety, such as semi-autonomous cruise control, 360-degree cameras, and pre-crash assist software.

The Cupra Born dimensions and weight vary depending on the model. All versions of the Cupra Born have a length of 4,322 mm, a width of 1,809 mm (2,070 with mirrors), and a height of 1,540 mm. The Cupra Born has a cargo volume of 385 L.

The 58 kWh models of the Cupra Born have a gross vehicle weight (GVWR) of 2,260 kg, with the Cupra Born 150 kW – 58 kWh having a maximum payload of 524 kg and the Cupra Born 170 kW – 58 kWh with a maximum payload of 511 kg.
