FAQs

The battery size of the Polestar 2 you choose and whether you charge at an AC charging station or DC fast charging station have the largest influence over how long it takes to charge. There are three versions of the Polestar 2, the Standard Range Single Motor with a 67 kWh usable battery capacity, and the Long Range Single Motor and Long Range Dual Motor both with a 75 kWh usable battery capacity.

All three versions of the Polestar 2 can charge at an AC charging station at a maximum power of 11 kW. This means charging from 0 to 100 takes the Standard Range version around 7 hours and 15 minutes, and the larger Long Range versions around 8 hours and 15 minutes.

As for charging at a DC fast charging station, the Polestar 2 Standard Range takes around 31 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent at a maximum power of 133 kW. The Polestar 2 Long Range versions also take around 32 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent at a maximum power of 151 kW.

The Polestar 2 is currently available in three models each with a different range:

  • Standard Range Single Motor has a range of 295 miles (474 km)*
  • Long Range Single Motor has a range of 336 miles (540 km)*
  • Long Range Dual Motor has a range of 300 miles (483 km)*

*These estimates are based on the WLTP ratings and the actual range may vary based on factors such as speed, weather conditions, and elevation change.

Depending on which version of the Polestar you choose and your location or dealership, the starting price ranges between £41,900 and £47,900* in the UK.
