The battery size of the Polestar 2 you choose and whether you charge at an AC charging station or DC fast charging station have the largest influence over how long it takes to charge. There are three versions of the Polestar 2, the Standard Range Single Motor with a 67 kWh usable battery capacity, and the Long Range Single Motor and Long Range Dual Motor both with a 75 kWh usable battery capacity.
All three versions of the Polestar 2 can charge at an AC charging station at a maximum power of 11 kW. This means charging from 0 to 100 takes the Standard Range version around 7 hours and 15 minutes, and the larger Long Range versions around 8 hours and 15 minutes.
As for charging at a DC fast charging station, the Polestar 2 Standard Range takes around 31 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent at a maximum power of 133 kW. The Polestar 2 Long Range versions also take around 32 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent at a maximum power of 151 kW.

As a brand new premium performance electric car brand, Polestar has designed an impressive electric car in the Polestar 2. Just some of the features you can find in the Polestar 2 include the integration of Google into the 11.2-inch centre display to assist with user-friendliness and the active high beam LED headlights which monitor for oncoming vehicles and automatically switch to low beam.
Other features include the panoramic glass roof, the digital key allowing for access to the Polestar 2 through the Polestar app, remote climate control from the app, smarter and safer driving with Pilot Assist, Cross-Traffic Alert with brake support, 360º camera visibility, and more.
Categorised as a large five-seater saloon, the Polestar 2 is 4,607 mm long, 1,800 mm wide (1,985 inc. mirrors), and 1,479 mm tall. The Polestar 2 has a 405-litre cargo load, with a 35-litre front trunk. Altogether, the cargo load is a maximum of 1,095 litres.
The gross vehicle weight (GVWR) of the Polestar 2 Standard Range Single Motor is 2,400 kg, whilst the Long Range Single Motor is 2,490 with a maximum payload of 496 kg, and the Long Range Dual Motor is 2,600 kg with a maximum payload of 487 kg.
