When a Passion for Technology Meets Electric Mobility
An entrepreneur at heart, Cédric Defossez has always been drawn to innovative technologies. At just 22 years old, he launched his own electrical contracting business with a strong conviction: to provide his clients with cutting-edge technological solutions.
“From the very beginning, I was attracted to everything related to home automation, programming, and connected technologies,” he explains.
After several years of growth, his business evolved. In 2011, he founded Felirosa SRL to focus more on industrial and real estate projects. With the rise of electric mobility, a new opportunity emerged: the development of fast-charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
This is how FRCsupercharger was born, specializing in DC fast-charging solutions. Based in Achêne, Belgium, the company supports its clients through consulting, sales, installation, and maintenance of fast-charging stations.
A Strategic Location to Meet the Needs of EV Drivers
FRCsupercharger benefits from a particularly strategic location. Situated in Achêne, close to the E411 motorway connecting Brussels to Luxembourg, it serves as an ideal stopover point for motorists traveling through Wallonia or heading toward the Ardennes region.
To meet growing demand, Cédric and his team decided to invest in an ultra-fast charging station equipped with two 360 kW EVBox chargers. The project was carried out in collaboration with several local companies involved in earthworks, site development, parking construction, and the installation of the high-voltage substation.
The station officially went live on January 27, 2025.
A Choice Driven by Quality and Long-Term Reliability
Before selecting a technology partner, Cédric carefully analyzed the different DC fast-charging solutions available on the market.
“After reviewing the DC charging market, we chose EVBox because of the quality of its products, but also because of the maintenance, update, and troubleshooting capabilities they offer.”
The ability to ensure long-term reliability was a key criterion for FRCsupercharger.
“We are regularly confronted with charging stations that have effectively become orphaned, with no real technical support behind them. Installers sometimes disappear, and operators no longer know who to turn to. We wanted to provide our clients with a reliable and sustainable solution.”

Profitability Reached Faster Than Expected
Like any fast-charging infrastructure project, profitability depended on reaching a minimum level of daily usage.
Initial projections estimated the break-even point at approximately 500 kWh consumed per day.
The results exceeded expectations.
“We had calculated that we would need to reach an average of 500 kWh per day to achieve economic balance. That target was reached after only seven months of operation, and traffic continues to grow.”
Building on this momentum, FRCsupercharger is already preparing the next phase of its development.
“Our installation was designed to evolve. We can quickly add a third 360 kW charger on-site, and we are also studying the installation of two additional 80 kW charging stations.”
Scalable Solutions to Address Grid Challenges
One of the main challenges in deploying fast-charging infrastructure in Wallonia remains access to sufficient electrical power from the grid.
For Cédric, the modularity of EVBox solutions is a major advantage.
“The main challenge in Wallonia is often access to available grid power. EVBox offers scalable solutions ranging from 40 kW to 1 MW, allowing us to meet virtually any project requirement, regardless of size.”
A Partnership Focused on the Future
Today, FRCsupercharger continues to expand with a clear ambition: supporting the growth of electric mobility in Belgium by providing high-performance infrastructure and local service.
“We are constantly looking for high-performance tools to support our clients. EVBox is undoubtedly the ideal partner for our DC fast-charging projects. At FRCsupercharger, we support our clients at every stage: consulting, sales, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Our goal is to deliver a reliable long-term solution.”
